2009 - Landing Spaceshuttle Endeavour

Op 31 juli 2009 - de 8e verjaardag van Rosalien - waren we in Orlando Florida toen die dag de Spaceshuttle Endeavour landde. Hij kwam terug van missie STS-127 (wiki).

Hierna volgenden nog twee missies daarna werd de Endeavour een Pensionado. Zie hier foto's van de allerlaatste tocht van de Endeavour door de straten van Los Angeles.

They offer a fascinating glimpse into Lennon's private life. He is relaxed, playful and happy throughout, a million miles away from the hectic period of the 70's.

The most striking thing about these photos is how new they all seem. It's hard to believe they're over 30 years old.
